John Yanski Obituary

John E. Yanski, 84, of Holliston and formerly of Milford, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2019, at the Genesis Milford Center. He was the husband of the late Marlene I. (Partridge) Yanski, who died in 1998.

Born in Mendon on November 14, 1934, he was a son of the late Walter and Stella (Hammond) Yanski.

Mr. Yanski served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict earning the rank of A1c.

Prior to retirement, he was employed as a maintenance mechanic at Applied Plastics in Norwood.

He enjoyed fishing at the Quabbin Reservoir, hunting in New Salem, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his two children, William Yanski and Lee Emerson both of Bellingham; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four siblings, Walter Yanski, Jr., Michael Yanski, William Yanski, and Mary Bouthitte.

A private graveside service will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Upton at a later date.
