Earle E. Stanley

Earle E. Stanley, 84, of Upton and formerly of West Stockbridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at the Cornerstone Assisted Living Facility in Milford.

Born in Whitinsville, he was the son of the late Earle and Dora (Sargent) Stanley.  He was raised and educated in West Stockbridge.

Mr. Stanley proudly served in the United States Air Force during Peacetime.

Prior to retirement, he was employed as an electronics technician for Guarino TV in Framingham, and most recently for Sears.

Earle enjoyed cars, trucks, auto racing, reading about cars, had a love for animals especially dogs, traveling to the south west part of the country, and watching the Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins.

He is survived by a niece, Kathleen Alix and her husband James, of Harrisville, RI, their children, Matthew and Benjamin; a nephew, Timothy McElroy and his partner Amy Gavalis, of Chesterfield, his daughter, Kaitlyn; and a close friend, Teri Eaves of Medford, OR.

He is predeceased by his sister Doris McElroy.

His funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, October 7 in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, Inc. 45 Main Street, Upton, Andrew D. Pickering – Director.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Upton.

A period of visitation will be held prior to his service from 9:30 to 10 AM.

His family would like the thank the staff at Cornerstone in Milford as well as the Salmon VNA and Hospice for the excellent care and support he received.
